Product Description

The Aurender A20 reference streaming DAC offers a headphone amp, optional internal storage, and a large color display

The Aurender A20 is based on the flagship A30 streaming DAC and offers the same audio quality with an edited feature set. While the A30 is aimed at customers with large disc collections, the A20 dispenses with CD ripping and metadata handling, and does not come with built-in storage, though you have the option to add two 2.5″ drives. The A20 also has fewer headphone outputs, offering just one 1/4″ jack.

The top-of-the-line dual-mono DAC stage in the Aurender A20 has fully discrete linear power supplies for each channel, and is built around a 768 kHz, 32-bit design using the AKM AK4497 chipset. This all-out attack is designed for the most demanding audiophile with just one shelf of audio rack space, who wants the very best one-box digital source.

Aurender

High-end audio manufacturer Aurender is known for building quality audio products designed for the modern age. During the past decade as people moved to streaming music as their primary way of listening to their favorite artists, Aurender noticed a gap in the market for delivering high-performance audio to these customers. Established in Korea in 2010, it still does much of its development and manufacturing in its home country, with design and marketing done in California.

Aurender products seek to bring high-quality audio to the streaming world through their wide range of music streamers, servers and transporters. CD rippers let music lovers upload their personal music collections while cutting-edge decoders deliver full MQA quality sound. Access all your favorite artists with native integration of leading high-resolution audio subscriptions like Qobuz, Spotify, and Tidal. Aurender also offers two USB converters to add greater connectivity to their products.

Enjoy the ultimate in digital sound through their 14 distinct music streamers with varying degrees of storage, processing and connection options all featuring their seamless Aurender Conductor App. During our high-end installs, we recommend their premier A30 network player which includes the company’s best built-in DAC, CD ripping technology, advanced library management, up to 10 terrabytes of storage and a dedicated headphone section.
